Most commonly used in the medical and aerospace industries, Micro Broaching is ideal for manufacturers of micro parts. Slater Tools' Micro-size broaches are a cost effective and efficient way to make hexagon, 6-lobe and other forms smaller than .050 inch. Rotary Broaching micro forms requires the use of two components, a rotary broach tool holder and a rotary broach. Slater's Swiss Type Adjustment Free Rotary Broach Tool Holders are ideal for Micro applications and require no center indicating, thus reducing set-up time.
Create Small External Forms on Slater Tools' Internal Rotary Broach Tool Holder

Slater Tools' line of external rotary broaches greatly reduces manufacturing costs for our customers. Using the same tool holder, customers are able to produce both internal/ID and external/OD forms by simply interchanging the broaches.

Slater Tools' line of small external broaches allows customers to produce external forms as small as .056" and up to .225" in any custom size, satisfying the demand for small and micro manufactured parts such as bone screws and other micro fasteners.
